Tartalo 2020 is a unique red wine from the Rioja Alavesa region, produced by Oxer Bastegieta. It is made in a small plot with vines dating back to 1920, located in Elvillar, at an altitude of approximately 600 meters. This wine is an example of a 'field blend', where Tempranillo, which constitutes around 87%, is complemented by small proportions of Viura and Graciano, adding complexity to the final product. The vinification of Tartalo is carried out using indigenous yeasts in open oak barrels and tanks, followed by careful aging of about 12 months in used barrels.
