Tartalo 2023 is a red wine produced by Oxer Bastegieta in Rioja Alavesa, coming from a historic vineyard planted in 1920. The vineyard is cultivated in calcareous soils at 600 meters altitude, with a blend of Tempranillo (87%), Viura, and Graciano, providing complexity to the wine. The vinification process includes indigenous yeasts and aging for 12 months in oak barrels. Approximately 1,500 bottles are produced annually, reflecting an artisanal philosophy. The aromatic profile highlights fresh red fruit, with notes of thyme and rosemary, while on the palate, it presents acidity and soft tannins.
