Tinto Pesquera Crianza 2023 is a red wine from D.O. Ribera del Duero, made by the historic Tinto Pesquera winery, founded by Alejandro Fernández and located in Pesquera de Duero, Valladolid. It is produced exclusively with Tempranillo from estate vineyards grown on limestone soils in the Ribera del Duero, which give the wine character and depth. After fermentation, it is aged in American oak barrels, where it develops complexity while retaining the grape’s fruity expression. It shows an intense cherry-red color with garnet highlights. On the nose, it offers aromas of ripe red and black fruit, balsamic and spicy notes, hints of liquorice and vanilla, and slight toasted tones from the barrel. On the palate, it is concentrated, flavorful, balanced and structured, with well-integrated tannins and a round, velvety texture. Fruit and oak come together harmoniously in a persistent, elegant finish. Its fruity character and classic style make it a great match for roasted meats, lamb, traditional stews and cured cheeses.
