Villa de Corullón 2022 is a high-quality red wine created by the renowned winery Descendientes de J. Palacios, located in the heart of Bierzo. This wine is a clear example of the concept of "village wine," capturing the unique characteristics of the region and its multiple plots. Made primarily with Mencía grapes, this wine is sourced from around 200 small old vineyards situated on steep slopes with slate soils, which favor the production of grapes with freshness and minerality. Harvesting is done manually, ensuring the selection of the best bunches. Fermentation occurs using native yeasts, resulting in a wine that respects and reflects its origin. After fermentation, the wine is aged for approximately 12 months in French oak barrels, seeking a perfect balance between fruit and structure.
