Vallegarcía Viognier 2022 is a white wine made by Pago de Vallegarcía , a winery located in the Montes de Toledo , an area where the continental climate and altitude allow wines of great personality to be obtained. It is made with 100% Viognier , an aromatic variety that finds in these soils a perfect balance between intensity, freshness and elegance.
The winemaking process includes partial fermentation in barrels , a process that gives greater complexity and structure to the wine without losing the aromatic expression of the variety. The result is a white wine with character, often described as "a white wine with the soul of a red wine", thanks to its volume and depth in the mouth.
The nose is notable for its aromas of white fruit and exotic fruits accompanied by summer flowers , evoking the Mediterranean landscape of the Montes de Toledo. The palate is unctuous and elegant , with good structure and a slightly bitter, fine and persistent finish. A gastronomic white wine ideal to accompany fish, poultry, rice dishes or Mediterranean cuisine with a certain intensity.
