The great selection ham shoulder "Out of the ordinary" comes from Iberian pigs raised in the Dehesa of Extremadura and is known for its juicy and aromatic meat. This product weighs approximately between 3.8 and 4.2 kg and has been cured in natural drying rooms to ensure an unparalleled flavor. Ideal for a variety of occasions, whether for breakfasts, snacks, or dinners; its flavor shines in every dish. This shoulder has a high oleic acid content, making it not only delicious but also beneficial for health. The "Out of the Ordinary" shoulder means that, despite its high quality, it has not been certified under the official Iberian standards due to the pigs not meeting certain established criteria. However, this does not affect the quality of the product, which is offered at an excellent price. To enjoy it to the fullest, we recommend cutting it with the hoof up if you will consume it quickly, or down if you will consume it slowly; the ideal cutting temperature is between 20-25ºC. Protect the shoulder between cuts with its own fat to avoid drying out.
