**Dominio Mateos de la Higuera – Tempranillo Merlot Oak** is a red wine from the **Denomination of Origin La Mancha**, made from a careful selection of **Tempranillo and Merlot** grapes sourced from their own vineyards planted since 1976, on **stony-calcareous** soils that provide structure, freshness, and a soft, creamy texture.
The grapes are hand-harvested at their optimal ripeness and transported in boxes to prevent damage and preserve their quality. Subsequently, a meticulous selection of the fruit is carried out before it is transferred to the fermentation tanks, where the wine is vinified at controlled temperatures using the most advanced winemaking techniques.
**Aging**
The wine ages for **three months in new French oak barrels**, where it acquires subtle spicy notes (eugenol), as well as hints of vanilla and toasty nuances. After aging in wood, it is bottled and rests in the bottle to complete its balance and harmony.

With a clean and bright appearance, it presents an intense ruby color.
