The Legaris Moradillo de Roa Red Wine, created by Bodegas Legaris, is a unique wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero that has received 96 points in the Proensa Guide 2021. This wine is made exclusively from Tinto Fino grapes from a two-hectare vineyard at an altitude of 973 meters in Moradillo de Roa, Burgos province. This small vineyard, about 20 years old, allows the development of a wine that reflects the richness and diversity of the region. In appearance, it shows an intense dark cherry color. On the nose, it features notes of coconut, licorice, toasty, cocoa, blackberries, and ripe dark fruits. On the palate, the wine promises lively tannins, being intense and long. It is recommended to decant it 60 minutes before serving at a temperature of 16ºC. With an alcohol content of 15% and an aging period of 8 months, this wine benefits from good bottle aging, promising favorable evolution over the next 8-10 years if stored in suitable conditions.
