Bodegas Angel Lorenzo Cachazo, presents us with the Sparkling Wine Martivilli Brut Nature, originating from the lands of Rueda (Spain) made from the Verdejo grape variety.
This Sparkling Wine is exclusively made with the Verdejo grape variety. The most important development process of this sparkling wine is the fermentation methodology used by Bodegas Angel Lorenzo Cachazo. The winery imitates the traditional champenois method. First, they ferment the grapes in a tank; when the sparkling wine is ready, they do a second fermentation in bottles located in their underground cellar at temperatures of 12°C, where they leave the bottles for 30 months. The most important difference that distinguishes this sparkling wine from others is the amount of sugar the winery decides to use. Instead of using 32g or 50g like semi-dry sparkling wines, the Sparkling Wine Martivilli Brut Nature uses only 6g of sugar, ensuring a dry flavor.
Bodegas Angel Lorenzo Cachazo was founded in 1988 and is located in the town of Valladolid. They create wine as part of the Rueda designation of origin which has a long history and winemaking tradition. D.O. Rueda is part of the Castilla y León community which has 74 municipalities including Pozdalez, the site where Bodegas Angel Lorenzo Cachazo is located.
Before 1988, the grandparents already had their own vineyards that produced grapes that contributed to the creation of the Tierra de Medina wine. Angel Lorenzo Cachazo continued the legacy of his ancestors while improving the technology and the way he created the wine, never neglecting the quality of the harvested grapes. Over time, Bodegas Angel Lorenzo Cachazo continues to grow and evolve. Although new wine-making technologies may scare consumers if they maintain the same level of quality, the winery's philosophy ensures that they still use the best selection of grapes obtained with great care from their vineyards.
