If you are looking to buy wine with depth, history, and an authentic connection to its surroundings, the Red Wine La Pinaleta is a choice that will transport you to the heart of the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin. Produced by Bodegas Sembro, this wine is born from the accumulated knowledge of over 25 years of work among vineyards, parcel selection, and patient aging. It is, without a doubt, a masterpiece that reflects the essence of the 100% Tinto Fino grape, cultivated in the best estates in the region.
The La Pinaleta project began in 1997, when the Osborne – Osborne family ventured into the Ribera del Duero with the aim of finding the most unique vineyards in Valladolid, Burgos, and Soria. After 24 continuously produced harvests, the experience materializes in this limited edition wine, under the seal of the family company Vinea Magna S.L.U., and with the technical direction of the renowned winemaker Toni Barragán, a great connoisseur of the area.
La Pinaleta comes from unique parcels with old vineyards located in Moradillo de Roa, Quintana del Pidio, Quintanilla de Onésimo, and Pesquera de Duero, at altitudes between 750 and 1,100 meters. Its soils are mainly rocky, limestone, and poor, which gives the wine exceptional concentration and minerality. Many of these vineyards coexist with small pine forests known as " Pinaletas", which give the wine its name and mark its personality.
Each parcel is vinified separately to respect the specific characteristics of the soil, altitude, and fruit. Subsequently, each wine is aged in new and one-year-old French oak barrels, for a minimum of 20 months, in a measured aging process, designed to embrace the wine without masking its essence. Successive tastings allow for the decision of the final blend, always seeking the perfect balance between complexity, fruit, freshness, and structure.
At Vinopremier, you can buy the Red Wine La Pinaleta and discover one of the most honest and pure expressions of the Ribera del Duero. If you have any doubts, our sommelier is available to guide you and help you choose the perfect pairing.
Buying wine like La Pinaleta is to bet on the soul of the Ribera: a wine that speaks of its land, its history, and its people. A red to uncork, enjoy, and remember.
