The White Wine Pazo Señorans Albariño fromBodega Pazo Señorans, presents this white wine from the D.O. Rías Baixas, made from 100% Albariño grape varieties.
Making: Manual harvest in boxes, grape selection in vineyard and winery. Pellicular maceration in press. Traditional fermentation in virgin wine at a controlled temperature of 16ºC. Aged for a minimum of 5 months on fine lees in stainless steel tanks. Bottle ageing of minimum 4 months.
Recommended serving temperature: Between 7 and 10ºC.
Pazo Señorans, now converted into a winery, is a magnificent representative of the 16th century manor houses, built in the countryside with all the charm and lordship of bygone eras.
The winery released its first vintage in 1989.
The vineyard is entirely of the autochthonous variety albariño. It is characterized by the use of the vine as a conductive system and also for being located in different locations, but all of them within a radius of about 10 km, and near the sea.
The configuration of the land is not uneven, although very special; it is mainly 'xabre' soils, resulting from the decomposition of granitic rock and with great drainage capacity.
The climatological characteristics of the environment, together with the morphology of the soils (poor, acidic, sandy and thin) give the grapes their own characteristics of aroma and freshness.
This valley is the most representative subzone of Rías Baixas, where the largest area of vineyards and wineries is concentrated: more than 2300 hectares, representing 57% of the entire Designation of Origin.
A land in which to develop excellent wine tourism and leisure activities, besides being one of the best areas of Galicia to enjoy the best Albariño wine.
