The Ned Chardonnay White Wine is an exquisite wine produced in the historic Marlborough region of New Zealand. This Chardonnay variation was grown in ancient soils that once formed part of an old riverbed and benefited from the benevolent climate of 2016, with rains revitalizing the vegetation and water resources of the area. Harvest occurred during February and March, where summer water stress was alleviated by precipitation, allowing the grapes to reach optimal ripeness levels. After careful harvesting, this wine was fermented in French oak barrels, where it was aged for 9 months. During this time, the yeast lees were periodically stirred, contributing to an increase in weight and complexity of its sensory profile. On the palate, warm fruity flavors are presented, accompanied by notes of spicy oak and roasted nut, while on the nose, yellow citrus and tropical hints are highlighted by a subtle oak that complements the wine's creaminess.
