White Wine The Orange Republic

The White Wine The Orange Republic belongs to the Casa Rojo winery and is included in the Valdeorras D.O. It is a wine made with Godello grapes from vineyards about 30 years old from the Villa Quinta plots, the highest altitude in the Valdeorras D.O. The production of these vineyards is approximately 5,500 kilos per hectare. The production is limited to 39,878 bottles. This wine is rebellion, but also tradition, family, past, and present. It is Jazz but also Rock & Roll.

The harvest, carried out in the first half of September, is done manually, and in small boxes of 15 kilos to preserve the optimal state of the grape clusters. After a meticulous selection of the grapes, they enter the winery with a subsequent maceration of three hours. Aging on fine lees (after separating the coarse lees) for 6 months, in stainless steel tanks.

The wine has an alcohol content of 13.7%. It also has a total acidity of 5.7 g/l, a pH of 3.3, and 1.8 g/L of residual sugar.
