Wild Garnacha from Moncayo Wild Garnacha from Moncayo is a red wine made from old vines over 55 years old located on the north face of Moncayo, between Zaragoza and Soria. It is part of the "Garnachas de España Project", a collection that seeks to rescue the most authentic character of Garnacha in different regions. It is a fresh, fruity wine with a brief aging in barrels that enhances its aromatic profile without diminishing its liveliness. Tasting notes: Sight: Bright cherry red color with violet reflections. Nose: Aromas of fresh red fruits (raspberry, cherry), soft spicy notes, and memories of the mountains. Palate: Light and balanced, with soft and ripe tannins. Its passage is pleasant and juicy, with a spicy and fresh final touch. Elaboration: Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at less than 25 ºC and maceration for 14 days. Aging for 5 months in French oak barrels. Garnacha vines over 55 years old planted in stony soils with presence of slate and pebbles. Pairing: Perfect with cold cuts, red meats, and rice dishes. Ideal for accompanying informal meals with tasty and slightly fatty products.
