More information

This bitter red vermouth is the most premium and most intense from Padró & Co.

Made with a double infusion of botanicals of red vermouth and bitters.

ELABORATION

In the initial process of making the vermouth, a first infusion composed exclusively of high mountain plants is added, characterized by having small roots and very aromatic flowers. Over the following two years in chestnut barrels, and in total rest, this bitter red vermouth assimilates these aromas.

After aging, a second botanical formula is added, a combination of barks and roots of peculiar plants from our environment that provide more strength and a bitter profile. An exceptional premium quality vermouth.

TASTING NOTES OF THE BITTER RED VERMOUTH:

On the nose, there is a citrus entry of ripe orange peel, subtly mixed with cinnamon spice. Balsamic notes of clove and also of nuts such as apricot raisin appear.

Velvety and voluminous on the palate. Orange reappears with a very fresh sensation, followed by a pleasant bitterness, broad and intense, reminiscent of tobacco, quinine, and honey caramel.

This vermouth is presented in a beautiful cylindrical case, making it ideal for gifts. Its luminescent decoration, visible under ultraviolet light, shows its warm tones during sunset and dares with fluorescent colors when the night awakens.
