The influence of the Duero River and the passage of time have been crucial to the incredible management of the nearly 1000 hectares that make up the Vega Sicilia estate. 40 of the estate's hectares are used to produce Unico , which is aged for a minimum of 10 years between wood and bottle. This is one of the longest aging periods in the world. French and American oak barrels of 225 liters are used. With the passage of time, this wine gains infinite nuances, precision, texture and depth.
