Do not use for prolonged periods. USE 5 grams of bearberry per cup. Bring water to a boil. Once it reaches a boil, add the bearberry and let it boil for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand another 3 minutes. Strain, sweeten to taste and drink. Three cups a day are recommended. If desired, it can be mixed with chamomile, which improves its flavor and limits its astringency
