The botanicals used are juniper, orange rind, lemon zest, coriander, liquorice, cinnamon, cassia, angelica, Lily Root, paradise grains, cardamom, almonds and cubea berry.
It is a very recent gin, since it began to be manufactured in the year 2010, and it is produced in Doune, Scotland. According to the manufacturer, it is inspired by the recipe of Franz Boë, from the 17TH century.
Gin Boë is crystalline white with very evident notes of bitter almond and cinnamon.
It is a pure and slightly bitter gin, but with character, it becomes a pleasant surprise when it enters the mouth. You can see the juniper, pepper and the most obvious botanists that gradually leave the nuts and almonds.
