This single varietal wine is made exclusively with Tempranillo grapes (Tinto Fino), grown in a vineyard located in the municipality of Anguix, Burgos. The uniqueness of this vineyard lies in its flat surface with red sand soils and clay in the subsoil, with vines that are a respectable 100 years old and a goblet plantation system.
Goyo García, renowned winemaker, carries out a special vinification process for Finca Viñas de Arcilla. Fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts, followed by maceration for 3 months. Subsequently, the wine ages in used French oak barrels, acquiring complexity and elegance, to finally complete its refinement in bottle for 1 to 2 more years.
