Viticulture:Lustau owns two vineyards in the Marco de Jerez, the Montegilillo vineyard, with albariza soils, very suitable for growing Palomino grapes, from which it obtains the musts for the production of manzanillas, finos, amontillados and olorosos. And Viña Las Cruces, near the coast, with sandy soils where they grow Muscatel and Pedro Ximénez, destined for the production of sweet wines
Making: Oloroso VORS Lustau is a wine made from the Palomino Fino grape. Selecting the oldest soleras, with more than 30 years, this oloroso is born of the barrels with more structure to directly perform oxidative aging, heading to 17% vol. alc. to prevent the development of the veil in flower. The long aging causes a small evaporation, concentrating the alcohol reaching, in some cases, to graduations above 20% vol. alc.
