Pietrabianca Tormaresca is a white wine made from chardonnay grapes in the Puglia region of Italy by the Antinori winery.
This white wine offers a unique sensory experience, the result of a meticulous vinification process and carefully supervised ageing.
The carefully selected grapes are gently pressed to obtain a must of the highest quality. This must is then placed in stainless steel tanks, where natural decanting takes place at a controlled temperature of 10°C, allowing the flavours and aromas to develop optimally.
After this initial phase, the wine is transferred to new French and Hungarian oak barrels, where both alcoholic fermentation and malolactic fermentation take place. This process adds complexity and structure to the wine, creating a harmonious fusion of flavours.
After a six-month refinement in barrel, the wine is transferred to stainless steel tanks for bottling. However, the ageing process does not stop here. The wine continues its evolution in the bottle for a further five months, allowing the different elements to integrate further and the wine's character to reach its fullness.
This white wine presents a fresh and vibrant taste experience, fusing citrus and fruity notes with nuances of maturation in oak barrels.
Visually, it presents an intense straw yellow colour, adorned with greenish reflections that add to its visual appeal. On the nose, it displays a rich range of fruity aromas, dominated by subtle notes of white peach and exotic fruits, nuanced by delicate hints of vanilla and wood that intertwine harmoniously.
On the palate, this wine offers a smooth and silky entry, followed by a pleasant persistence and a well-defined structure. Its savoury flavour and balanced acidity provide a freshness that invites further tasting. In short, it is a wine that will delight the senses with its complexity and its ability to enhance the gastronomic experience with every sip.
