Piraat Rum
A very strong Belgian specialty beer, 10.5% alcohol, top-fermented and with a second fermentation in the bottle. Amber in color and somewhat cloudy, the Piraat Rum and not only because of its name, starts aggressively, with abundant foam and a wide variety of surprising aromas, reminiscent of different types of malt and herbs that hint at the wood and alcoholic sensation of rum. In its flavor, we initially appreciate the alcohol, but its second fermentation gives it a body that rounds out to a dry and pronounced bitterness without forgetting the wood present in the aroma.
