Pruno is the best Spanish wine in history for less than 20 dollars, according to Robert Parker.
Finca Villacreces is located in the Golden Mile of the Ribera del Duero. Its vineyards border those of Vega Sicilia and the landscape, with pine forests, olive trees, and junipers, not only adds aesthetic beauty to the surroundings but also a unique personality to its wines.
Pruno is a blend of Tinto Fino (90%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%). In terms of the production of this fantastic wine, after the manual harvest in 15 kg boxes, the grapes went through a double selection table, first of bunches manually and then of the grains through a ventilation system. Subsequently, an alcoholic and malolactic fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks before aging.
Pruno is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels that are 3 years old.
Pruno is ideal to accompany beef, meat rice dishes, roasts, roasted lamb, complex salads, and grilled red meats.
It is recommended to consume this red wine at a temperature between 16 and 18ºC.
