In addition to its characteristic smoothness, Herradura Ultra's distinctive flavour starts with one of its most exceptional añejos. This añejo undergoes a filtration process designed to remove its colour, which in turn enhances its smoothness. Prior to this filtration process, a delicate touch of pure agave nectar is carefully incorporated, adding subtle hints of baked agave, caramel and honey notes, accompanied by toasted almonds.
The result is a finish that goes beyond simple smoothness, offering a unique and refined taste experience.
Appearance: Exhibits a dark amber hue that clearly reveals its warmth and ageing in oak barrels.
Nose: In terms of aroma, it is characterised by the presence of cooked agave, along with an amalgam of nuances that include spices, oak influences, and subtle notes of caramel and dried fruits.
Palate: On the palate, it is distinguished by its pleasant smoothness and stands out for its flavours of dried fruits and cooked agave.
