The Distillery of Périgord originates from the Lapouge Distillery founded in 1860 by Emile Lapouge. Renowned for the quality of its fruit eaux-de-vie, the distillery expanded in the 1980s into the treatment of fruits with alcohol. The distillery gained recognition through gastronomic knowledge, a renowned terroir, the expertise of passionate individuals, the search for high-quality raw materials, and mastery of maceration and distillation processes.
