Queso Mena was born in 2017 as a family and completely artisanal cheese factory, the cheeses are pampered and made one by one from the beginning to the end of the process. This allows us to guarantee high quality.
Artisanal matured cheese made with pasteurized goat milk from the Florida breed, enzymatic coagulation, pressed paste, refined submerged in oil from 45 days until the moment of its optimal maturation and packaging, without additives or preservatives. Salted in brine.
MATURATION TIME:

TEXTURE AND COLOR:
Its exterior appearance presents a cylindrical shape with a hard crust and a yellowish color. Completely edible. Inside, it has a closed paste with white eyes, not very elastic, becoming fragile in long maturation.
FLAVOR AND AROMAS:
Intense smell and aroma, with a strong presence in the mouth. It has the most powerful flavor. Spicy dairy notes, reminiscent of traditional cheeses.
INGREDIENTS:
Pasteurized goat milk, E.V.O.O. Rennet, lactic ferments, and salt.
STORAGE RECOMMENDATIONS:
• Open the vacuum bag a few hours before consuming.
• Once opened, store in a dry, cool place and in a closed non-hermetic container.
• Not recommended to store in the refrigerator as it loses aromas and dries out from cutting.
• Optimal consumption temperature: 20º - 25º.
FORMAT:
Vacuum packed. Half pieces between 350-400 grams approx. Whole pieces of 750-800 grams approx.
BEST BEFORE: Best before date of 1 year.
