Horsetail (EQUISETUM sps L) is a plant known for its versatile medicinal properties. It is especially effective in renal conditions and inflammation of the urinary bladder and prostate, aiding in fluid retention and blood purification. Traditionally, it has also been used in infusions to increase diuresis and as support in weight management treatment. Among its uses, it is indicated for the treatment of post-traumatic edema and as an aid in wound healing. It is recommended to prepare an infusion by boiling the plant for five minutes and letting it steep. For specific ailments, it is advised to take three glasses daily for a month and a half.
