La Maragata presents itself as an author red wine, the result of the care from the Elías Mora winery, located in the prestigious Toro region of Spain. This wine stands out for its singular character, deriving its essence from the Tinta de Toro variety, sourced from vineyards over 50 years old, cultivated using traditional practices in sandy and stony soils. The vinification includes careful fermentation followed by aging for 6 months in French oak barrels. The result is an expressive and elegant wine, with great aging potential, perfectly representing the potential of the Denomination of Origin Toro. In tasting, La Maragata shows a vibrant intense cherry-red color with violet edges, a high layer and dense tears suggestive of good concentration and maturity. On the nose, it presents itself powerful and complex, with aromas of ripe red and black fruits like cherries and blackberries, accompanied by spicy notes of black pepper, clove, and a hint of cocoa, along with subtle nuances of vanilla and cedar.
