Légende Bordeaux Tinto is a Bordeaux DO Wine Made with Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot Grapes by Bodegas Domaine Barons De Rothschild.
Color: deep purple. Nose: intense and very expressive, with predominance of aromas of fresh fruit (currant and raspberry) mixed with subtle notes of wood. Palate: structured, round and pleasant, with a hint of wood, firm but velvety tannins and a long fresh and fruity finish.
Climate: with characteristics reminiscent of the legendary 1990 vintage, the 2016 season was exceptional in Bordeaux, both in terms of quantity and quality. Although it was a year that posed great difficulties for winemakers due to the abundant rainfall recorded at the beginning of the cycle (800 mm of rainfall in the first six months of the year), the subsequent absence of rain between July 1 and September 13 and finally the storms that affected certain areas and the pleasant Indian summer, all these conditions combined to allow the grapes to reach perfect ripeness. The red wines are rich, delicate, fruity, with very deep colors and tannins of extraordinary maturity.
