Paco y Lola Vintage is a white wine from Rías Baixas produced by Bodegas Paco & Lola with Albariño grapes.
Paco y Lola Vintage is a white wine from Rías Baixas produced by Bodegas Paco & Lola with Albariño grapes.
It is made from the free-run juice of grapes from the oldest vineyards. The vineyards are cultivated in sandy loam soils, granitic and slightly acidic.
Once finished, the gross lees are removed and the wine is aged on its fine lees, with a weekly "bâtonnage" for 1 year.
Once the ageing is finished, it remains in stainless steel tanks for a further 4 years before being stabilised and bottled.
Straw yellow colour with intense greenish tones and slight golden tones. Aromas of aromatic herbs, spices and infusion. Hints of candied fruit and an elegant background of lees.
Fresh on the palate, with good acidity and a hint of sweetness. Unctuous, oily, with hints of ripe fruit and toasted tones. Mineral and saline aftertaste.
