Sericisstrains Old Monastrell is a wine of the D.O.P. ALICANTE elaborated by Bodegas Murviedro.Pick-up manually. Destemming and gentle squeezing of the grapes. Pre-fermentation maceration at low temperature for 3-4 days, addition of selected yeasts controlling fermentation at 26 º C maximum temperature. Decube after 21 days in maceration. Ageing for a minimum of 12 months in French oak barrels.
Sericisstrains Old Monastrell is intense red color with purple hues. Aroma of high intensity, highlighting the very ripe fruit on a background of toasted oak of great elegance. Meaty, complex, with an unctuous mouth, balanced tannins and a roasted finish.
