Les Terrasses is an elegant crianza red wine created by the renowned Álvaro Palacios winery, located in Gratallops, Spain, an area famous for its quality wines. This wine is a blend that includes the Cariñena, Garnacha, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah grape varieties, sourced from old vineyards of small estates, meticulously caring for every detail of its production. The vinification occurs in stainless steel, concrete, and various types of wooden containers, enabling the maximum expression of the grape and the Priorat terroir. After vinification, Les Terrasses undergoes 12 months of aging in French oak barrels, where 20% are new barrels contributing subtlety, while 80% are second and third use. This wine has an attractive cherry-red color with subtle violet reflections. Its nose is intense and aromatic, with notes of red fruit intertwined with spicy touches and a balsamic background. On the palate, it presents itself as a fresh and silky wine, with a creamy and unctuous body, leaving a persistent flavor of red fruit accompanied by mineral notes and notable acidity.
