Tignanello is the perfect example of a Supertuscan, characterized by a careful selection of Sangiovese, Cabernet franc and Cabernet sauvignon grapes. It is one of the oldest Italian wines, having been produced for the first time in 1970, and the composition has been the same since 1982. It was also the first Sangiovese aged in barrels and is only made in the best vintages. It is a wine that impresses with its great complexity and elegance. On the nose, we are overwhelmed by notes of red fruit, stone fruit, vanilla and spices, which are accompanied by sensations of coffee and caramel. On the palate, it reveals itself as a wine rich in vivacity, savoriness and persistence. A classic
