Arienzo de Marqués de Riscal 2022 is a red wine from the DOCa Rioja made by the historic Marqués de Riscal winery from a selection of Tempranillo with a small proportion of Graciano , mainly from vineyards in Rioja Alavesa. After fermentation, the wine is aged for about 18 months in American oak barrels , which provides a balance between fruit, freshness and well-integrated oak notes.
The nose is fresh and expressive, with aromas of ripe red fruits accompanied by delicate nuances of coconut, vanilla and spices from aging. The palate is ample and balanced, with soft tannins, good structure and a persistent finish that combines fruit character and elegance.
A versatile Rioja that is very easy to enjoy, ideal to accompany grilled meats, blue fish or cured cheeses , and perfect for informal meals as well as for everyday drinking.
