Artuke Paso las Mañas 2020 is a wine that encapsulates the rich tradition of "Las Mañas," a celebration that takes place every December 7 in Samaniego. During this festivity, young people burn their mañas while roaming the village to scare away evil spirits. This wine, a pure expression of the Tempranillo grape, is crafted in vineyards located in Samaniego, in the municipality of Baños del Ebro, at altitudes ranging from 600 to 700 meters and with a north-south orientation. Artuke presents us with a red marked by the Mediterranean influence of the area El Chorro, showcasing tasting similarities with Rhône's Syrah. The grape harvest is done manually, ensuring the highest quality in this exceptional wine. Aging occurs in 500-liter barrels and 35-hectoliter fudres, further enriching its complexity and character.
