Barón de Chirel Verdejo Viñas Centenarias 2022 is one of the most exclusive white wines from Marqués de Riscal. Originating from century-old vines in Segovia, the grapes grow in granitic and sandy soils that influence the wine's unique personality. After manual harvesting and strict selection, only the free-run juice is used to produce this wine. It ages for eight months on lees in Austrian casks, providing volume and complexity. The nose presents aromas of wild herbs, ripe fruits, and bakery notes. On the palate, it is dense, long, and balanced, with a mineral freshness making it ideal to accompany a wide range of dishes such as fish, seafood, white meats, and aged cheeses.
