Pago de Carraovejas 2021 is Alma Carraovejas' flagship wine, originating from the Carraovejas valley, an area rich in soil diversity, orientations, and altitudes that contribute a unique personality to the wine. The 2021 vintage is characterized by its balance, resulting from slow maturation that imparts freshness, elegance, and depth. Vinification is carried out respecting the character of each vineyard, with rigorous hand selection and fermentation using native yeasts. Aging for 12 months in French and American oak barrels allows for magnificent integration between fruit and wood. The wine offers an aromatic bouquet of black cherry, blackberry, aromatic herbs, and sweet spices, along with balsamic notes. On the palate, it is broad and silky, with vibrant acidity and a fresh, persistent finish that reflects the character of the Carraovejas valley.
