Clos Mogador Nelin 2020 is a white wine representing René Barbier's interpretation of the great white from Priorat. It is made from a mosaic of small plots and traditional varieties, aiming to reflect the diversity of llicorella soils and the complexity of a unique landscape. The fermentation process involves the use of indigenous yeasts and a long aging on lees in large foudres, which adds volume and depth to the wine. It is then refined in stainless steel to preserve its aromatic precision and freshness. On the nose, it offers aromas of quince, ripe pear, white flowers, fennel, sweet spices, and Mediterranean herbs, along with delicate notes of wet stone and a subtle smoky touch. On the palate, it is broad, creamy, and vibrant, with marked salinity, excellent acidity, and a prolonged finish with hints of white fruit, citrus, and minerality.
