Avancia Godello is a white wine made in the Denomination of Origin Valdeorras by Bodegas Ordóñez, part of the Jorge Ordóñez group. This wine is a single-varietal from the Godello grape, whose grapes come from ancient vineyards of 40 years planted on terraces at an average altitude of 500 meters above sea level. The calcareous soils with a touch of granite provide the wine with a very special minerality, making it a remarkable tasting experience. The harvest is done manually in small boxes to avoid any unwanted breakage. Once in the winery, the best grapes are selected, and fermentation takes place in large barrels of 500-600 liters of French oak, where the wine undergoes a 7-month aging process. Avancia Godello is a flavorful wine that shows a lot of personality, with saline and mineral notes that enrich its character. Ideal to accompany fish and seafood, as well as Asian food.
