Botani Sparkling 2023 is a sparkling wine produced by Jorge Ordóñez in the Sierras de Málaga DO , made from 100% Muscat of Alexandria grown in steep mountain vineyards in the Axarquía region of southern Spain. These high-altitude plots, planted on slate and quartz soils, allow the grapes to ripen slowly, giving the wine remarkable aromatic intensity and freshness.
The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented in stainless-steel tanks to preserve the natural aromas and varietal character of Muscat. The result is a vibrant and expressive sparkling wine with fine bubbles and a lively, refreshing style.
In the glass it shows a bright straw-yellow colour with aromatic notes of white flowers, tropical fruit and citrus. On the palate it is fresh, lightly sweet and well balanced , with lively acidity and a pleasant, refreshing finish. A festive and versatile sparkling wine, perfect as an aperitif or paired with seafood and light desserts.
