La Estrada 2023 is one of the most exclusive wines crafted by Telmo Rodríguez in Rioja and belongs to the prestigious Bodega Lanzaga. Originating from La Estrada Alta, a vineyard of just 0.64 hectares in Lanciego, it is primarily planted with Tempranillo and a small proportion of Graciano on a clay-limestone soil, giving the wine a distinct mineral identity. The production process includes fermentation in open wooden vats with native yeasts, followed by aging in oak fudres, preserving the vineyard's expression. Aromas of black cherry, blackberry, and raspberry mingle with notes of thyme, licorice, and black pepper. On the palate, it exhibits precision and depth with fine tannins and mineral freshness.
