Matarromera Esencia is the blend of the best vintages , wine references of our elaborations, which show the essence of the land, of its vineyards, as well as the great personality of Valbuena de Duero. Matarromera Esencia, to be launched in 2020, represents the entire history of the winery in a fabulous creation from its first vintages , with excellent vintages such as Matarromera 1994 : Grand Gold Medal at the International Wine Competition, Matarromera 1995 : Grand Gold Bacchus or Matarromera 1996 , an outstanding vintage for the winery. These combine to express the genius, longevity and wisdom of its vineyards. The aging capacity of Matarromera reaches its maximum expression here, showing some aromas typical of the passage of time, and keeping intact the fruit of this Tempranillo from limestone terroirs of the middle Duero Valley, selected for Matarromera Esencia, with a characteristic brick red color, fine and very complex nose, with a multitude of aromas in perfect harmony, with spicy sensations, new leather, soft pipe tobacco, surprising and fresh red berries, beeswax or soft caramel. In the mouth we find a fine skeleton of polished tannins, with excellent complexity of flavors and surprising freshness, with a final sensation of extraordinary length and elegance.
