Ponte da Boga Capricho Merenzao 2017 is one of the jewels of the Ribeira Sacra, made with the iconic Merenzao variety from Galicia. This wine comes from the Alais vineyard, an exceptional place where the vines grow on terraces that defy gravity. The production process aims to respect the essence of both the grape variety and the terroir. After fermentation and maceration, it undergoes 10 months of aging in used French barrels, which add complexity without losing the delicate aromatic profile typical of Merenzao. On the nose, aromas of rose, raspberry, cherry, and red fruits are complemented by floral and spiced notes. In the mouth, it is fine, elegant, and balanced, with good freshness and a silky texture.
