Lindes de Remelluri Viñedos de San Vicente de la Sonsierra 2020 is a red wine from the DOCa Rioja produced by Bodegas Remelluri as part of the Lindes project, which seeks to reflect the identity of different historic villages in the area. In this case it comes from San Vicente de la Sonsierra , in Rioja Alta, from grapes grown by small vine growers in vineyards located on the slopes of the Sierra de Toloño, on clay-limestone soils.

It is made mainly with Tempranillo , accompanied by small proportions of Garnacha and other traditional Rioja varieties from vines between 30 and 80 years old. Fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts and the wine is subsequently aged for around 12 months in oak barrels and foudres , seeking to preserve the expression of the vineyard and the landscape.

The nose presents aromas of red and black fruit such as cherry and blackberry , accompanied by floral and spicy notes and a mineral background. The palate is balanced and fresh, with fine tannins, good acidity and a long, elegant finish. A Rioja with terroir character that faithfully reflects the style of Sonsierra wines and is a perfect accompaniment to roasted meats, small game or traditional dishes
