Lindes de Remelluri Viñedos de San Vicente 2020 is a representative red wine from the DOCa Rioja, produced by Bodegas Remelluri. This wine is part of the Lindes project, which aims to capture the essence of the diverse historical villages of the area. Sourced from San Vicente de la Sonsierra in Rioja Alta, its grapes are carefully cultivated by small farmers in vineyards located on slopes with clay-limestone soils. The wine is primarily based on the Tempranillo variety, complemented by small proportions of Garnacha and other traditional Rioja varieties, from vines aged between 30 and 80 years. Fermentation is carried out using indigenous yeasts, and the wine ages for approximately 12 months in oak barrels and fudres to preserve the expression of the vineyard and its surrounding landscape. On the nose, the wine exhibits aromas of red and black fruits, such as cherry and blackberry, alongside floral, spicy notes, and a slight mineral background. On the palate, it is balanced and fresh with fine tannins, good acidity, and a long, elegant finish. This terroir-driven Rioja is perfect for pairing with roasted meats, game, or traditional dishes.
