Tierras de Cair Reserva 2019 is a red wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero produced by Dominio de Cair , a project of the Luis Cañas family in the Burgos area of La Aguilera and Quintana del Pidio. It is produced with 100% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) from old vineyards planted at an altitude of over 800 meters, where the poor soils and continental climate favor a balanced ripening and great concentration of the grapes.

After manual harvesting and a rigorous selection of the grapes, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and the wine is aged for about 24 months in French oak barrels , followed by a period of refining in the bottle to add complexity and structure.

The nose presents intense aromas of ripe black fruit , accompanied by notes of spices, leather, cocoa and toast derived from aging. The palate is ample and structured, with ripe tannins, good concentration and a long, persistent finish. A powerful and elegant Ribera del Duero, ideal to accompany red meats, game or traditional stews.
