Viña Cubillo Crianza 2017 is a red wine from the DOCa Rioja made by the historic López de Heredia Viña Tondonia winery from a traditional blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha, Mazuelo and Graciano , from the Cubillo vineyard, located in the Rioja Alta area. This wine reflects the winery's classic style, based on long ageing and a winemaking process faithful to Rioja tradition.

After fermentation in wooden vats, the wine is aged for approximately three years in American oak barrels , with periodic rackings that contribute to its refinement and stability. It then spends some additional time in bottle before being released to the market.

The nose offers an elegant and complex profile, with aromas of ripe red fruit, spicy and balsamic notes, and light hints of vanilla and leather derived from its aging. The palate is balanced and fresh, with soft tannins, good acidity and a long, harmonious finish. A classic and very gastronomic Rioja, ideal to accompany roasts, stewed meats, game or cured cheeses.
