Bodegas Calar is located on the estate Montanchuelos, in the municipality of Granátula de Calatrava. In the year 2005 this winery was born, in an environment of traditional winemaking, where the vine grows and develops with the sobriety and rest that are the essence of the La Mancha region. Low yields and careful cultivation. They have 1,100 hectares of their own vineyards with ages ranging from 10 to 70 years of the Tempranillo variety, from which only the plots that have produced the best fruits are harvested each year for production. This is the philosophy that guides the work of Calar.
