The Daftmill 2010 whisky is the result of the craftsmanship of the Cuthbert family, who have managed this distillery since 2005. The distillery's operations are limited to quiet periods on the farm, typically in summer and winter, which contributes to a production of less than 100 casks per year. This single malt was carefully distilled in winter 2010, from Publican barley grown in August 2009, and then malted in Alloa during summer 2010. Aged for over 12 years in first-fill bourbon casks, this whisky presents a complex and evolved aromatic profile.
