Alma is a single varietal tempranillo wine that is born under the DO Ribera del Duero and does not disappoint
The grapes are grown at an altitude of 860 metres, in the Pago Cachapuz, and its location allows for late and powerful ripening. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks and then aged for 9 months in French and American oak barrels of extra fine grain that offers as a final result a wine of pleasant and balanced tannins
Lynus Viñedos y Bodegas is a family business born in 1999 in Quintanilla de Arriba, in the province of Valladolid. They started with 15 hectares of vineyards in an area of Spain where excellent wines are produced due to its particular climate and soils
Shortly after they built their own winery and planted new vineyards in a constant aspiration to improve and consolidate their first steps. They currently have 25 hectares of Tempranillo, which allows them to produce around 80,000 bottles a year.
