Sight: 'De color cereza con reflejos rubí'
Mouth: 'Ligero y fresco con mucha fruta en boca y buena acidez'
Nose: 'Interesante en nariz con aromas de frambuesas, moras y notas citricas con final de naranja'
Red Wine Bruja de Rozas Garnacha from Madrid. Sierra de Gredos, Valle del Tietar.
Bruja de Rozas is an elegant and fresh village wine, and one of the best expressions of Garnacha in the current scene, in a vintage that according to Parker is on track to surpass the already fascinating 2016.
For those who are not yet familiar with this village wine, whose vineyards are located between the provinces of Madrid and Ávila - in the Sierra de Gredos - it is one of the most acclaimed references of the exciting project by Fernando García, Daniel Gómez Jiménez-Landi and Marc Isart, responsible for Comando G.
The three young winemakers joined forces, personal trajectories and inherited knowledge from their family experience to create a series of wines that share freshness, playfulness, elegance and quality, as well as a young and modern image both on the label and in the names.
In particular, the name of this La Bruja de Rozas refers to the almost always gray skies and the unsettling light so typical of the area surrounding Rozas del Puerto Real. And the label is the work of the artist and designer Coqué Azcona, whose illustrations are in total harmony with the friendly, fun and exciting character of this great wine.
In addition to all this, there is another reason to be seduced by this wine: its great value for money, recognized and confirmed by the excellent ratings obtained in Parker (93+ in this vintage) and other influential international guides.
