Jules Destrooper biscuits were born in Belgium during the second half of the 19th century, by the hand of a baker, Jules Destrooper, who began to prepare Almond biscuits to give them as a gift as a thank you to his customers. The success of the biscuits forced the baker to expand the production of the biscuits on a larger scale. Since 1886 Jules Destrooper biscuits have been prepared with the same recipes, using the same natural ingredients and without additives, preservatives or colourings.
